National Engineers Week

Baylor is committed to sharing the benefits of discovery throughout our community during National Engineers Week. We’re proud to partner with local schools and the Office of the Vice Provost for Research to present a fun, hands-on learning project to teachers and families.

Activities for Schools, Students and Parents

As part of Baylor’s Research Impacts initiative, we're excited to present a hands-on learning project to teachers, students and families close to campus and around the world. National Engineers Week is a perfect time for students to enjoy some interactive fun as they learn. This year's project prompts students to apply the engineering design process to the roles of computer programmer and robot, using legos or any type of building toy to solve challenges big and small. All you need are legos or any toy building set to get started.

We hope to encourage children to consider becoming part of the next generation of scientists and engineers. Learn more and download lesson plans below!
